Family Boost

FamilyBoost is a government childcare payment administered by Inland Revenue that helps eligible families with the cost of early childhood education by providing a partial refund on childcare fees paid.

Child Care Subsidy

The Childcare Subsidy is a payment from Work and Income that helps eligible families with the cost of early childhood education. The amount you may receive depends on your family income, circumstances, and the number of children in care. Families apply directly through Work and Income, and payments are made to help reduce weekly fees.

20 Hours Subsidy

20 Hours ECE is a government-funded programme that supports children aged 3–5 years to access early childhood education. If your child is eligible and enrolled, this funding is applied to reduce your weekly fees in line with Ministry of Education requirements.

Choking Guidelines

This document created by the Ministry of Health, explains the steps we take to reduce the risk of choking at the centre and outlines safe food practices for children. We encourage all parents and whānau to follow these guidelines when providing food from home, to help ensure consistency and keep all children safe while eating.

Te Whāriki

Te Whāriki is Aotearoa New Zealand’s early childhood education curriculum. It provides a framework that guides how children learn and develop through play, relationships, and meaningful experiences. Te Whāriki focuses on supporting children’s wellbeing, belonging, contribution, communication, and exploration, and recognises the importance of culture, family, and community in each child’s learning journey.
