Kia Ora! My name is Catherine McCaul and I have lived in Upper Hutt for over 30 years.
I completed my Bachelor of Teaching in 2013 with Te Rito Maioha and have enjoyed working with children and their families since 2009.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening, taking my dog for walks and spending time with my two daughters Cassie and Jordan.
I look forward to meeting and working with you to develop your child's love for learning at Kidlywinks Childcare.
Carlene Paterson, B.Ed
My name is Carlene Paterson and I live in Lower Hutt with my husband Jon and my daughter Kayleigh. I am a qualified and fully registered teacher.
I have a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education), which I received in 2014. I have been working in early childhood since 2010, and I absolutely love working with children. No two days are the same.
Before I started working in early child care I studied interior design. I love being creative and I also love to explore using photography, drawing, and painting. I also love to read and explore with my daughter. I grew up in Wanganui with my parents, brother and sister, and still love to visit them as much as possible.
I am excited to be working here at Kidlywinks Childcare and building great relationships with everyone.

I completed my Early Childhood Education at New Zealand Tertiary College and am a fully registered teacher.
I am passionate about working with children and believe that each child is different in their own way and we need to provide them the freedom to open their wings and fly freely. I also believe in facilitating children with a healthy, caring and safe environment where they can flourish and grow.
I look forward for a wonderful journey at Kidlywinks Childcare that would further enhance my experiences and knowledge along with forming strong learning partnerships that will help to create tamariki that have a passion for learning.

My name is Kathleen/Kat, I live with my partner Russ and our six children in Stokes Valley. I love having a big family but strongly dislike the never ending washing pile that comes with it.
I love reading and spending quality time with my kids. I enjoy spending my days off catching up with family and friends and going out for coffee.
